Trail Rides

One Hour Private Trail Ride 

Iron Hoof Stables offers a scenic trail ride through the woods on our 30 acre property. This ride is suitable for all levels of riding experience and is perfect for those looking for a casual horseback riding experience. We have some hills and rocky spots for the horse to climb so the ride is not boring or unchallenging - but even if you are inexperienced our horses will take care of you!

We offer much more than just a trail ride. We encourage you to love on and enjoy getting to know our horses. There will be time after your trail ride to feed the horses carrots and spend time with them if you would like.

We will also take pictures of your experience and send them to you so you can just sit back and enjoy your trail ride!

In order to offer you the best personalized adventure, we do not mix parties! When you book a trail ride it will be for your party only plus our trail guide(s).

We can accommodate up to 8 riders per trail ride.

**Trail Rides for 1 person are $60**

What to Expect...

Plan to arrive 15 mins prior to your trail ride to sign our waivers and to allow everyone to be fitted for their horse. Out of respect for our other clients we will keep everything on time. If you are late for your trail ride your ride will end at the scheduled time.

After the trail ride there is time allotted for time with the horses, including giving your horse a carrot. 

Minimum age for a trail ride is 8 years old.

All persons under 18 years old must wear a helmet.

For the safety of our horses and the riders the weight limit is 225 lbs.

Please wear appropriate attire such as long pants and close toed shoes. Dress in layers with gloves when the temperatures are low to ensure you are warm and can enjoy your experience.
